The Peacock General Ink Refill Tips
- Use your printer at least once a week.
- Inkjet printers are not designed for heavy-duty print jobs. Running dozen. pages at one go could cause the print head to burn out and render the cartridge non-refillable
- Never wait until the cartridge dries out completely before refilling. Ink flows through the printer head to keep it cool. when it stops passing through the numerous tiny nozzles, the print head will burn out and render the cartridge non-refillable.
- When the cartridge needs refilling, remove it from the printer and place it in a zip-lock plastic bag with a moistened but not wet paper towel. Make sure the paper towel does not come in contact with the print head or the metal contact.
- Drop it off at one of the Peacock ink refill agent stores near you and get it back, good as new within 2 business days.
- Remove the tape on the print head and run the cleaning printer 2 to 3 times proprio to any printing task.
